1. Prepare the Roasted Broccoli:

Preparation:
  • Cut the broccoli into evenly sized florets to ensure even cooking.

  • Fill a large pot with water and add a pinch of salt. 
  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the boiling water. Boil for 2-3 minutes, or until the broccoli is bright green and tender but still slightly crisp.
  • Avoid overcooking to preserve nutrients and texture. 
  • Drain the broccoli and keep aside 
For Roasted Broccoli:

Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 small onion, diced (optional)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes 
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add chopped garlic, onion(if using), and cook onions until soft, about 3–4 minutes.
  • Add cooked broccoli, add cumin powder, chili flakes, and smoked paprika(if using). Cook for 1-2 minutes.

Prepare Rice:
  • Cook your rice (or use leftover rice).
Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

  • Red pepper flakes or chili powder (optional, for spice)
Instructions:
  • Rinse the rice under cold water. In a medium sized saucepan, bring water or broth to a boil.
  • Add rice and salt, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes (white rice) or 35–40 minutes (brown rice), until tender. Fluff with a fork and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, add butter(optional). Add chopped garlic, chopped onion (if using) and SautĆ© the onion until soft, about 3–4 minutes.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves, Add cooked rice. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

3. Season the Avocado:
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the avocado with lime or lemon juice to prevent browning.
